Maria Cabrera is a dedicated community outreach worker currently residing in Arleta, California. Originally from Mexico, Maria has made it her life’s work to enhance the well-being of those around her. She has played a key role in several impactful programs, including the Food Waste Project, Lead Hazard Remediation, Lead-Free Homes LA, Silicosis, and Bold Vision Youth Thriving.

Maria is driven by her passion for community, and her goal is to create cleaner, safer environments where individuals can thrive. With her eloquence and strong communication skills, she excels in building connections and facilitating positive change. Her dedication to service is also reflected in her seven years of volunteering at a school within the Los Angeles Unified School District, where she helped make a lasting impact on students and staff alike.

In addition to her field experience, Maria holds certifications in Forensic Analytical Consulting Services and as a Caregiver, expanding her expertise to better support the diverse needs of the communities she serves.

Outside of her professional life, Maria enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She also makes it a point to visit her father in Mexico every winter, strengthening her connection to her heritage and family.
