Joyce Lee
Communications Assistant
Growing up in the San Fernando Valley, Joyce first became involved with Pacoima Beautiful in 2019, after attending the four-week environmental justice course, Summer Institute: Agua University. This was what inspired her to pursue an education and career in the environmental field. She graduated from UCLA in 2024 with a B.S. in Environmental Science and a minor in Urban and Regional Studies.
Joyce is excited to be able to combine her passion for helping underserved communities address environmental injustices as well as her passion for design and creativity as Pacoima Beautiful’s Communications Assistant. Outside of work, you can probably find her cooking, thrifting, or relaxing at the beach.
